Dhaka Medical College total seat 2023 . Bangladesh’s capital city of Dhaka is home to the publicly funded Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (abbreviated as DMCH). DMC is Bangladesh’s most prestigious medical college. Every student’s first priority is this institute. In this post, we will see how many seats are available for MBBS students in the DMC.

226 general seats and 4 seats for freedom fighter quota (Total 230) were allocated for MBBS course in Dhaka medical college.
The 5-year MBBS program at the college is run in accordance with the BMDC-developed curriculum. Throughout the course, a student covers topics in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, forensic medicine, community medicine, medicine and related fields, surgery and related fields, and gynecology and obstetrics.
There are 4 phases to the course. University of Dhaka holds four professional exams, one at the conclusion of each phase. A student receives their MBBS degree after completing the final professional examination, which is the fourth. Course content is graded using a percentage system. The passing score on both the college’s internal exams and its professional exams is 60%. The student must successfully complete oral, practical, clinical, and written (MCQ + SAQ + formative) exams independently. Honors are given to students who achieve an overall grade point average of at least 85%.
