Minimum Requirement

A Unit – Candidates must have minimum GPA 4.00 in both SSC and HSC examinations separately.

B Unit – Candidates must have minimum GPA 3.50 in both SSC and HSC examinations separately. Science/Arts/Commerce/ Equivalent students can apply this unit.

C Unit – Candidates must have minimum GPA 3.50 in both SSC and HSC examinations separately. Science/Arts/Commerce/ Equivalent students can apply this unit.

C1 Unit – In both SSC & HSC examinations, a minimum GPA 3.25 is required for the Department of Drama and Dramatics and a minimum GPA 3.50 is required for the Department of Fine Arts.

E Unit –  In both SSC & HSC examinations, minimum GPA 3.75 is required for Humanities & Business Studies  students and minimum GPA 4.00 is required for Science group students.

F Unit – Candidates must have a minimum GPA 4.00 in both SSC and HSC examinations separately.

G Unit- Candidates must have a minimum GPA 4.00 in both SSC and HSC examinations separately.

H unit – Candidates must have a minimum GPA 4.00 in both SSC and HSC examinations separately.

JU Admission New Marks Distribution 2021

JU Admission Exam Pass Mark:

To pass the Jahangirnagar University honors 1st-year admission exam, you need to get at least 33% marks. Except that we are mentioning other requirements for various departments.

A Unit – To get admitted into the Department of Mathematics of A unit you need to get at least 50% marks in Math MCQ, for the Department of Chemistry you need to get 50% marks in Chemistry MCQ questions and for the Department Computer Science and Engineering you have to get 60% marks in Maths and Physics MCQ separately

C Unit – To get admitted into the Department of Bangla you need to get at least 50% in Bangla and 40% in English MCQ portions, to get admitted into the Department of English you need to get at least 50% in the English portion of the MCQ questions, to get admitted into the Department of International Relations you need to get at least 7 out of 10 in International Affairs MCQ questions, to get admitted into the Department of  Journalism and Media Studies you need to get 50% marks in both Bangla and English MCQ separately.

D Unit – To get admitted into the Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering you need to get at least 50% marks separately in all subjects of the MCQ questions.

F Unit – To get admitted into the Department of Law and Justice, you need to get at least 10 marks in Bangla and English MCQ separately.

New Mark Distribution Chart

Jahangirnagar Honors 1^st year admission exam 2021 has a total of 10 units and each unit has different subjects and marks distribution system. We have mentioned every unit’s new mark distribution system below. Have a sharp look for clarification.

Mark Distribution of A Unit

Unit A has the faculty of Mathematics and Physics. There are going to be a total of 6 subjects in the A unit admission exam.

Mark Distribution of B Unit

Unit B has the faculty of social science and the Jahangir Nagar Honors first-year admission exam of the B unit is going to be held on 5 subjects.

Mark Distribution of C Unit

JU C unit has the faculty of arts and humanities (except Drama & Dramatics and Fine Arts departments). Unit C questions will be related to three subjects.

Mark Distribution of C-1 Unit

JU C-1 unit has the faculty of arts and humanities including Drama & Dramatics and Fine Arts departments. Unit C-1 questions will be related to four subjects.

Online Application Procedure

You have to apply online for participating in Jahangirnagar university admission test in three steps. You must have to follow and completely submit all of your information correctly and pay within valid date the exact amount of unit application fee for the admission test. Then after payment you have to log in admission test official website ju-admission.org with your payment transaction id and password. Now just upload your formal passport size image and your signature.
