Dhaka City College was established at West End High School under the name Dhaka Night College in 1958. Dhaka City College has been conducting educational activities on its campus at Dhanmondi Road No. 2 since 1980 by changing its campus and name. Infrastructure

• 3 college buildings with 6 floors
• Library
• Science Lab
• Air conditioning
• Security via CCTV cameras
• Car parking facilities
• Although there is no playground, sports competitions are organized.

Admission Eligibility

Although the college changes the admission requirement based on the SSC and their own HSC result, if your total mark is above 1130 then you can assume that you can study here (as per demand). Minimum eligibility for admission in different departments as per last year’s admission notification –

• Science GPA – 5.00 (Science to Science)
• Business Studies (Commerce) GPA – 4.00 (Science/Commerce/Arts to Commerce)
• Arts GPA – 3.50 (Science/Commerce/Arts to Arts)

Costs / Fees

• 14000 BDT per four months (including 1500 BDT Monthly & Other fees)
• Admission fee is 14,012 BDT (As of last year)
• It can cost around 75 to 90 thousand BDT in 2 years.
• The college does not have its accommodation.
