College Review – Shamsul Hoque Khan School & College

Shamsul Hoque Khan School & College is an educational institution in Demra, adjacent to Dhaka city. The educational institution was established in 1966 by Alhaj Samsul Haq Khan, a prominent intellectual and philanthropist of Matuail, to spread the light of education in the backward society of Demra.

Academic activities were started in 1989 with a limited number of students. Although it faced many difficulties in the beginning, now it is one of the best educational institutions in the country with more than 15,000 students and 300+ teachers. Apart from being the first in the country in the SSC examination in 2015, Samsul Haq Khan School and College are among the top ten colleges in the country in terms of results every year.

The organization’s scout group has been the first at the national level 3 times and the organization is also ahead in terms of culture. At present, through S-Net activities, teachers go from house to house to find out the learning curve, study environment, and quality of teaching. Samsul Haq Khan School and College is a unique general institution in education, discipline and sincerity of teachers.
