College Review – Adamjee Cantonment College Dhaka

Adamjee Cantonment College Dhaka is a college run by the Army. The college started its journey on 16th February 1970. The institute was established under the overall supervision of the Army and with the funding of the late Gul Mohammad Adamjee, an industrialist. At present Adamjee Cantonment College offers Honors, Masters, and BBA courses in English, Economics, Political Science, Accounting, and Management in addition to science, humanities, and business education in the higher secondary classes.

Infrastructure & Facilities

• One building has elevators, others do not
• Except class, almost all the rooms have AC
• Multimedia class
• Lots of stuff in the labs
• 100+ computers in the computer lab
• Girls Common Room & Boys Common Room
• Coldwater system in all corridors
• There is a library with 2 floors
• There is a primary care center, where doctors sit all the time. A psychologist comes to the college every week to solve the problems of the students.

Environment

The cantonment area is so beautiful, Adamjee seems to be more beautiful in it. Everywhere there is a shadow on the head, a cool atmosphere A beautiful mosque, a canteen. A basketball court, a big playground.

 

Discipline

Armies are Famous in Discipline! It is run by the armies, they give the highest priority to discipline. You are forced to stay straight here. CCTV cameras throughout the college, in every corridor, in every place, in the ground, in the garden, everywhere. That means you are always under their surveillance. Upon entering the college, there are two metal detectors at the front gate and one at the back gate. There are different types of fines in Adamjee Cantonment College Dhaka
